2024 Ford Bronco Colors, Redesign, Cost

Posted on August 3, 2022

2024 Ford Bronco Colors, Redesign, Cost – The 2024 Ford Bronco’s look harkens back to the original, yet it also boasts modern refinements that make it a joy to drive on the road while retaining its legendary off-road prowess. The breadth of its features makes Ford’s off-road vehicle so popular. Although the Jeep Wrangler has long been the go-to SUV for those searching for genuine trail-eating cred, the Bronco offers equal customizability with its convertible top, two-and four-door body variants, and removable doors. The interior’s sturdy materials and straightforward layout are reminiscent of the first generation Bronco, although the design starts to feel cheap in the top trim levels. Both the four-cylinder turbo and the six-cylinder twin-turbo are standard on all Broncos. Both are fast and responsive, but neither is fuel-efficient nor quiet. The 2024 Bronco’s optional Sasquatch and Everglades packages, which add beefier tires and other features, help make it the best off-road SUV money can buy and a top pick among our staff.

In 2024, the Bronco adds the Everglades trim to its portfolio, expanding on the off-road capabilities of the Sasquatch package that debuted in 2023. Aside from the noticeable external differences (such as the fantastic Desert Sand paint job), the Everglades also features a snorkel air intake, a Warn winch with a maximum pulling capacity of 10,000 pounds, and 17-inch wheels with 35-inch tires. However, it can only be had in a four-door configuration with a turbo-four engine producing 300 horsepower. Unfortunately, you can’t couple the machine with the seven-speed manual; it only works with the ten-speed automated. In addition, Ford has created a new Wildtrak model with a Hoss 3.0 package for $2505, which includes more robust Fox adaptive dampers and other chassis modifications. However, at this time, it’s only available to those who have made a reservation or a random order.

2024 Ford Bronco Redesign

The 2024 Ford Bronco SUV, with its throwback styling that honors the original Bronco even as it incorporates cutting-edge features, is destined to become a cultural landmark. In a nutshell, it’s sick-looking. A retractable top and doors and 16-inch silver-painted wheels with 255/70R16 All-Season 30-inch tires are standard on the base model, while 17-inch black high-gloss wheels are available as an upgrade. Tires of a standard size of 32 inches in diameter are installed on Big Bend automobiles. Black Diamond models have additional tow hooks, rocker panels, and bash plates that protect the entire undercarriage. Those Wildtrak vehicles have some fantastic decals. The First Edition and Wildtrak, at the upper end of the spectrum, both come standard with 17-inch wheels and 35-inch tires.

The 2017 Ford Bronco’s sleek exterior design would be incomplete without a selection of vibrant hues, and fortunately, Ford has provided 11 options for buyers to choose from. Shadow Black, Oxford White, Antimatter Blue, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Velocity Blue, and Rapid Red are the base model colors for $295. The Big Bend package further customizes the vehicle with Cactus Gray, Area 51, and Race Red. For an extra $595, you can get the gorgeous Cyber Orange tri-coat on the Black Diamond trim, and the First Edition comes in a total of just five colors, one of which being lightning blue. The Bronco’s infinite degree of customization is mainly due to the wide variety of available trims and color options.

Interior

The 2024 Ford Bronco’s cabin is unadorned but practical, providing much storage space. Most seating areas use waterproof materials, so mud, water, and dust won’t slow you down on your off-road adventures. The dashboard also features a rack for mounting cameras and smartphones, allowing you to document every trail and terrain you travel. You’ll find four rubberized buttons for traction control and differential lock further down on the dashboard. Rubberized and machine-washable floor mats are also available—choices for upholstery range from ultra-practical vinyl to luxurious leather for a more luxurious feel. The 2024 Ford Bronco won’t be dated in terms of its entertainment system. Screen sizes for the infotainment system range from 8 inches on the base model to 12 inches on the highest grade. In addition, the infotainment system is powered by Ford’s SYNC 4 user interface, which is upgradable via wireless connections.

The Ford Bronco has an impressively functional and visually distinctive cabin. But the Land Rover Defender, whether the two-door or four-door version, has a significantly roomier cabin. The Defender is considerably more expensive than the Bronco since it is made with higher-end materials and has a higher construction quality. The Bronco’s construction and styling are on par with Jeep Wrangler’s. A Jeep Wrangler’s cabin is more cramped than a Bronco’s, especially if you go for the 2-door model.

Engine

There isn’t an option for eight cylinders in the Bronco. Instead, a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 with 330 horsepower are both available. Both gas engines can be attached to a 10-speed automatic transmission, although the smaller engine can also work with a 7-speed manual. There is no upbeat music accompanying any of the machines. Each Bronco’s power is sent to all four wheels, and its independent front suspension is a step forwards from the simple front stick axle seen on Jeeps. Additional features include electronic locking front and rear differentials, a sway-bar disconnect, and 35-inch mud-terrain tires. The Bronco’s on-road smoothness was the primary factor that wowed us after our initial drives. The Ford has superior handling to the Wrangler because its steering is more precise. No one is fooled by the ostensibly stealthy body-on-frame design; the enormous tires and most pliant suspension mean severe braking dive. However, the Bronco is more than just a one-trick pony; it can also navigate extremely complex landscapes. The two-door and four-door variants share the Wrangler’s maximum towing capacity of 3500 pounds.

The fuel-efficient Bronco is the four-cylinder automatic gearbox model, which achieves 20 cities and 22 highway mpg. If you get the V-6 with the Sasquatch package, which includes aggressive, larger tires, your city, and highway fuel economy will drop to 17 mpg. On our 75 mph fuel-economy route, we’ve tested Broncos with both engines, and the four-cylinder models have averaged 22 mpg. In contrast, the V-6 models have averaged 18 mpg when paired with an automatic transmission. The EPA website has further details concerning Bronco’s gas mileage.

2024 Ford Bronco Release Date and Price

Ford expects strong demand for the Bronco since its base price of $28,500 places it in direct competition with the Jeep Wrangler. You can have the standard two-door version of Ford’s Bronco for $28,500 (before the mandatory $1,495 destination charge). Adding a second door set will increase the price to $33,200 while upgrading to a 2.7-liter engine would cost an additional $1,895. The base price for a two-door Big Bend Ford Bronco is $33,385, while the base price for a four-door model is $35,880. Black Diamond models start at $36,050 for the two-door and $38,545 for the four-door. The two-door Outer Banks Bronco costs $38,955, while the four-door version costs $41,450. The base price of a Badlands-equipped two-door vehicle is $42,095, while the price of a four-door is $44,590—pricing for the Wildtrak ranges from $46,980 to $49,475. In two-door form, the First Edition will set you back $56,915; in four-door form, you’ll need to shell out $61,110. To get the full complement of features that the First Edition offers will set you back an estimated MSRP of $63,550, with the addition of any extra extras. Ford CEO Jim Farley only confirmed that the Bronco would be available in the United States in 2024, but the exact delivery date is still in the air.
