2024 Ford F-150 Raptor Colors, Engine, Release Date – A score off-road truck built on the pavement, the Ford F-150 Raptor is a rarity in the trucking industry. The 702-horsepower Ram TRX will finally have something to snort at when the wild and powerful Raptor R arrives in 2024, powered by a variant of the Mustang Shelby GT500’s supercharged 5.2-liter V-8. In 2024, the Raptor will still be powered by a V-6 with twin turbochargers and 450 horsepower, mated to a 10-speed automated transmission.
Unlike the twin-turbo V-6 variants, which come standard with 35-inch tires, the Raptor can be outfitted with optional 37-inch BFGoodrich K02s. Despite its massive size, the Raptor boasts one of the best rides of any full-size pickup we’ve tested. The long-travel suspension is amazingly soft and forgiving over ordinary potholes and bumpy pavement since it is engineered to absorb the bumps, dips, and leaps of high-speed off-roading. The Raptor may have more trouble maneuvering down a small road or into a parking spot than across rocks and dunes.

The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor has a determined appearance that exudes masculinity and White Claw spirit. If this is how the “basic” Raptor model appears, imagine how the “ultimate” Raptor R model will look. In 2024, the exterior will come standard with LED headlights, a remote tailgate release, LED box lighting, a unique Raptor-style grille, and 17-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires. The heated power-folding side mirrors are a welcome addition for a car of this width. Big, beefy 37-inch tires are an available extra. A folding pickup box bed extender, a Raptor Graphics package, and a twin-panel sunroof are all available options. No matter its trim level, a Ford Raptor vehicle will get noticed wherever it goes.
The F-150 Raptor is 231.7 inches long, making it a light-duty vehicle. Without the side mirrors, the width is 79.9 inches; with them, it’s 95.7 inches. A standard F-150 Raptor has a cab height of 78.6 inches. The Raptor is limited to just one body style, the Supercrew, which features a shorter bed of 5.5 feet in length than the standard F-150. Ford offers seven bold hues for new Raptor owners to select from, each accentuating the vehicle’s aggressive good looks. While the Raptor’s Agate Black Metallic paint job is striking, our favorite color choice is a darker shade of blue, like Antimatter Blue Metallic or Atlas Blue Metallic. The Raptor’s form is best highlighted by the lighter tones of Iconic Silver Metallic and Oxford White. Rapid Red Metallic is the only extra that can be added for $495, and Code Orange Metallic might be the most noticeable.

Interior
Like the conventional F-150 SuperCrew, the Raptor’s cabin is well-designed and spacious. The high-performance model has a larger trunk and what Ford calls “nicer materials,” in addition to a standard 12.0-inch digital instrument cluster. Behind the spokes of the new wheel are the same conspicuous aluminum paddle shifters, and the logo has been laser engraved into them in a race car-style orange. The Raptor comes standard with aluminum inside trim, but optional carbon-fiber accents and strengthened Recaro front buckets are also available. There will be no more SuperCab (extended cab) versions of the high-flying pickup. At least the SuperCrew crew cab model has more room in the back than the regular cab. An optional 5.5-foot cargo box is available for use with this set.
The Raptor’s standard Sync 4 infotainment system is supported by a massive 12.0-inch touchscreen that takes up much of the dashboard. It has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, in addition to being compatible with Amazon Alexa and receiving updates wirelessly. Ford’s acquisition of actual volume and tuning knobs to complement the steering wheel controls and voice commands is much appreciated. Those who value superior sound quality can upgrade to the 18-speaker B&O system. The Raptor can be purchased with a 2.0-kilowatt (kW) mobile generator for use in the truck bed, which can power electric tools and other equipment.

Engine
The famous 3.5L turbocharged EcoBoost V6 powers the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor found under the hood of other Ford F-150s. As the adage goes, “you gotta pay to play,” and Ford is asking for $69,905 before you can receive the keys to this off-road plaything. The base price of a 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor is expected to be over $70,000, with the average buyer adding a few optional extras that will drive the price to well above $85,000. Prices do not include a $1,795 destination charge, tax, or registration. It has been confirmed that the Ford F-150 Raptor will debut in the United States during the summer of 2023.
