2024 Ford F-150 Raptor, Price, Redesign – The Ford F-150 Raptor is an off-road champion truck that lives on asphalt. It has extra-wide fenders, a suspension with a long travel range, oversized tires, and the high-performance manner of a race track designed for the Baja desert. By 2024, most Raptors will still be powered by a twin-turbo 450-hp V-6 attached to a 10-speed automated transmission. However, an even wilder, more potent Raptor R is on the way for 2024, using a version of the Mustang Shelby GT500’s 700-hp supercharged 5.2-liter V-8, giving the 702-hp Ram TRX something to snort at.

The long-travel suspension is incredibly kind and forgiving over common potholes and uneven terrain since it was made to mainly absorb the bumps, dips, and jumps of high-speed off-roading. Putting aside rocks and dunes, the Raptor’s most complex challenge may quickly be navigating this size-XXL F-150 down a tiny road or into a parking space.
2024 Ford F-150 Raptor Redesigned
The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor has a purposeful appearance that exudes testosterone and White Claw energy. If the “basic” Raptor already looks so fierce, we can only speculate on what the hardcore Raptor R will look like. For 2024, standard external features will include all-terrain tires on 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a remote tailgate release, LED box lighting, and a distinctive grille in the Raptor style. For a car this big, the side mirrors’ power-folding and heating features come in handy. As an option, enormous 37-inch tires are offered. Other optional accessories include a twin-panel sunroof, a Raptor Graphics package, and a foldable pickup box bed extender. No matter how equipped, all Ford Raptor vehicles look the part and draw attention everywhere they go.
The 231.7-inch-long F-150 Raptor is a light-duty truck and falls within that classification. Without side mirrors, the width is 79.9 inches, and with them, it is 95.7 inches. The cab height of the F-150 Raptor is 77.2 inches. Unlike the standard F-150, the Raptor is only offered in a single body style, the Supercrew, with a 5.5-foot bed. Ford offers prospective customers a selection of seven striking colors to enhance the Raptor’s intimidating appearance. Agate Black Metallic gives the Raptor a wrong impression, but we like it in a bluish color like Antimatter Blue Metallic or Atlas Blue Metallic. Lighter hues like Oxford White and Iconic Silver Metallic do a great job of highlighting the Raptor’s figure. The most overt color is arguably Code Orange Metallic, which costs $495 more than Rapid Red Metallic, the only other option.
The Raptor inside shares the same layout and room for passengers as the standard F-150 SuperCrew. The 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster is a common feature of the high-performance model, which also has additional internal storage and, according to Ford, more delicate materials. The new steering wheel still includes conspicuous aluminum paddle shifters hidden beneath the spokes. Still, it now sports a laser-etched emblem and an orange symbol reminiscent of a race car at the noon position. The Raptor offers optional carbon-fiber interior elements and more aggressively bolstered Recaro front buckets in addition to the bare aluminum interior décor. The high-flying pickup won’t be available in the extended cab (also known as SuperCab) body style anymore. The SuperCrew crew cab version at least has roomier back seats. The 5.5-foot cargo box fits with it.
A 12.0-inch touchscreen that supports the truck’s standard Sync 4 infotainment system dominates the Raptor’s dashboard. It has wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as the ability to communicate with Amazon Alexa and get over-the-air updates. We also appreciate that Ford added actual volume and tuning knobs to follow the voice commands and steering-wheel controls. The 18-speaker B&O sound system is available for those who want to enhance their listening experience. A helpful 2.0-kW transportable generator that can power tools and other equipment may also be added to the Raptor. It is positioned in the cargo bed.
The well-known 3.5L turbocharged EcoBoost V6 is housed under the hood of the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor. All four wheels receive power from this engine thanks to a ten-speed automatic transmission that is connected to it. Ford has adjusted the torque curve to deliver more excellent shove early in the range for improved off-road performance, even if these power levels are unchanged from the previous vehicle. This has also made it simpler to maneuver the truck through traffic. Even when pressing hard, the ten-speed automatic transmission is responsive and supple. Ford’s decision to install a new, equal-length exhaust system measuring three inches with a modified X-pipe has given the vehicle a more robust voice, which we welcome. The new exhaust note makes the Raptor sound even more dangerous, adding to its reputation as a tough guy.
