2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Colors, Interior, MPG – The 2024 Ranger Raptor is a scaled-down performance of the F-150 Raptor, known for its high top speed and impressive aerodynamics. Despite sharing the same completely boxed ladder frame as the standard Ranger, the Raptor model will include a longer travel suspension for flying over jumps and a more powerful engine for accelerating across the desert. Flared fenders, more rigid tires, increased ground clearance, and a distinctive grille are just some off-roading features coming to the Ranger. The cabin needs some unique touches and a fully-featured entertainment system. Only a crew cab with a five-foot cargo box will be available for the Ford.
After the worldwide debut of the Ranger Raptor, Ford officially announced that it would be available in the United States. We have seen spy photographs of its testing and a camouflaged prototype of the next-generation Ranger before the formal announcement. The Raptor model will be available at U.S. dealerships sometime in 2019.
2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Redesign
This car is comfortable to spot because of its unique design, which includes two tailpipes and a large Raptor logo. Aggressive new looks accompany the Ranger Raptor’s improved performance. The Raptor has wide, meaty fender flares, a custom front fascia with large, prominent Ford branding, and a higher ride height. The regular Ranger’s C-shaped headlamp design is carried over, with the clusters now situated farther apart. Although the 17-inch wheels are somewhat modest, they are shod with beefy BFGoodrich all-terrain KO2 tires that include Beadlock technology. Only a crew cab version of the Raptor will be made available, complete with Raptor decals for individuals who want to draw attention to themselves despite the enormous 2.3 mm thick front bash plate.
A truck in what looks to be the model’s flagship color, Rapid Red, was displayed during the unveiling. It’s safe to assume that Ford’s Velocity Blue and Antimatter Blue paint colors, as well as other bright Ford tones like Code Orange, will be featured prominently on the Ranger Raptor’s palette. Despite its classification, the Ranger Raptor will be bigger than most midsize trucks. The outward proportions of the Ranger Raptor will go even farther from their existing basis on a wheelbase and track two inches longer and wider than the Ranger we know and love. While the dimensions have not been released, we may assume that the wheelbase will remain at about 129 inches, but the body will grow by a few inches—probably about 80 inches—to accommodate the track, which will increase by much more. Long-travel shocks will add two inches to the ride height, which will be the most noticeable difference.
Compared to a standard Ranger, the inside of a rasterized Ranger will have several minor changes. Ford spruces up the interior with unique features, although harsh plastics and certain rubberized materials are still plentiful. The international version has leather and microsuede upholstery and extensively bolstered front seats. In extra to a set of aluminum paddle shifters, the steering wheel should have a red band at noon, showing its performance edge. Dual-zone automatic temperature control, heated front seats, remote start, and more are all features that we expect will be available as standard or upgradeable options on this vehicle. We hope the Ranger Raptor to be offered in only one trim level, with a crew cab and a 5-foot bed.
Every Ranger Raptor should come standard with Ford’s newest Sync infotainment system and an 8.0-inch touchscreen. That would require the inclusion of a Wi-Fi hotspot that requires a subscription, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The widebody Ranger will include several charging points and maybe other features like built-in navigation and a Bang & Olufsen audio method with 12 speakers.
A 3.0-liter V-6 with two turbochargers is expected to produce 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque in the 2024 Ranger Raptor. It’s possible, though, that those numbers change significantly from the American version. Standard four-wheel drive with locking front and rear differentials and a 10-speed automatic transmission are virtually identical to those in the Ford Bronco Raptor. The Raptors will have more robust suspension and off-road equipment than their street-legal counterparts. Wider front and back tracks go with the 33-inch all-terrain tires that give the vehicle a higher ride height and more ground clearance.
Ford has not yet revealed the 2024 Ranger Raptor’s MPG. We will revise this report whenever that occurs. In addition, once we have the chance to put one through our comprehensive testing regimen on our 75 mph highway fuel-economy route, we will reveal its actual mpg. 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Release Date and Price
Ford CEO Jim Farley only confirmed that the Ranger Raptor would be available in the United States in 2024, even though it had been teased with the global debut of the new Ranger pickup truck. When it runs on sale in 2024, the Ford Ranger Raptor will have a higher sticker price than any other Ranger. It has been reported that the starting MSRP would be $52,500, but given the cost of the Bronco Raptor, we wouldn’t be shocked to see it increase above $60,000.
