New 2024 Ford Bronco Redesign, Engine, Price – The 2024 Ford Bronco features a look that evokes a sense of nostalgia, as well as refined on-road driving qualities and formidable off-road prowess. The versatility of its capabilities is what makes Ford’s off-road vehicle so popular. The Jeep Wrangler has dominated the off-road market as the SUV of choice for those seeking a car with genuine trail-eating credentials, even if they have no intention of tackling a boulder-strewn two-track. The Ford Bronco is similarly configurable with a convertible top, two-and four-door body styles, and removable doors. The interior’s robust materials and straightforward design are reminiscent of the original, old-school Bronco, but the aesthetics of the upper trim levels are cheap. All Broncos are equipped with all-wheel drive and a turbo-four or twin-turbo V-6 engine. Both are not particularly fuel-efficient or quiet but swift and responsive. The available Sasquatch and Everglades packages, which include beefier tires and other upgrades, help make the 2024 Ford Bronco the most excellent off-road SUV, earning it a spot on our 10Best and Editors’ Choice lists.
The 2024 Bronco selection expands with the addition of the off-road-oriented Everglades model, which joins the off-road-oriented Sasquatch package. In addition to different visual cues, such as a distinctive Desert Sand paint color, the Everglades features a snorkel air intake, a Warn winch capable of pulling up to 10,000 pounds, and 17-inch rims with 35-inch tires. However, only the four-door body style and the 300-hp turbo-four powerplant are available. Unfortunately, the engine is only compatible with a 10-speed automatic transmission, not a seven-speed manual. Ford has also developed a $2,505 Hoss 3.0 kit for the Wildtrak that includes more robust Fox adaptive dampers and other chassis enhancements. However, it is only available to reservation and unplanned order holders.

New 2024 Ford Bronco Redesign
The 2024 Ford Bronco SUV will be a modern icon due to its vintage styling, which pays homage to the original Bronco while adding a modern design. It appears to be extremely, extremely cool. Manual rear swing-gate with up to a 150-degree swing, LED headlamps, removable doors, and a top. 16-inch silver-painted wheels covered in 255/70R16 All-Season 30-inch tires. Optional 17-inch black high-gloss wheels. Standard on Big Bend vehicles is 32-inch tires. The Black Diamond package includes additional underbody bash plates, rock rails, and tow hooks. The Wildtrak automobiles feature cool-looking graphics. Standard equipment on cars like the First Edition and Wildtrak is 17-inch wheels and 35-inch tires.
The beautiful external design of the 2017 Ford Bronco wouldn’t be complete without an array of equally enticing hues, and fortunately, Ford has provided eleven of them. With many possible trims and colors, the Bronco offers limitless customization opportunities. Shadow Black, Oxford White, Antimatter Blue, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Velocity Blue, and Rapid Red are available for $295 on the base model. The Big Bend package includes Cactus Gray, Area 51, and Race Red colors. The Black Diamond trim is available with a Cyber Orange tri-coat for an extra $595, while the First Edition offers Lightning Blue as one of its restricted palettes of five colors.

Interior
The inside of the 2024 Ford Bronco is modest yet practical, providing considerable cargo room. Most seating surfaces are made from waterproof materials so that mud, water, and dust won’t slow you down while off-roading. The dashboard’s intelligent design continues with a rack for mounting cameras and smartphones to document every landscape and path you visit. Four rubberized buttons, such as traction control and differential lock, are located further down the dashboard. There are also rubberized and machine-washable floor mats to keep dirt at bay. The vast selection of upholstery materials ranges from ultra-practical vinyl to luxurious leather for a plusher experience. In terms of infotainment, the 2024 Ford Bronco will not feel outdated. The size of the infotainment display varies from 8 inches for the base trim to 12 inches for higher trims. The infotainment system also uses Ford’s SYNC 4 user interface, which can be updated over the air.
The cabin of the Ford Bronco combines efficiency and usefulness with a stunning and distinctive style. However, the Land Rover Defender’s house is significantly more extensive in 2-door and 4-door configurations. In addition to being much more expensive than the Bronco, the Defender has superior materials and construction quality. The Bronco is comparable to the Jeep Wrangler in terms of build quality and appearance. Although the Jeep Wrangler’s cabin is significantly smaller than that of the Ford Bronco, particularly in its 2-door variant,

Engine
The Bronco does not feature an eight-cylinder engine. Instead, a 300-hp turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder or a 330-hp twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 are standard. A 10-speed automatic transmission is consistent with both gasoline engines, but a seven-speed manual transmission is only compatible with the smaller engine. Neither engine has an energetic soundtrack, however. Each Bronco transmits power to all four wheels, and its independent front suspension is more advanced than the front axle of the Jeep. Other notable options include 35-inch mud-terrain tires, Beadlock-capable wheels, electronic locking front, and rear differentials, and a disconnecting sway bar. After our initial driving impressions, the Bronco’s on-road refinement most struck us. The Ford not only has more precise steering than the Wrangler, but it also handles better overall. Naturally, with the widest tires and softest suspension, there is significant braking dive, and the body-on-frame construction is not a secret. Nevertheless, the Bronco is not a one-trick pony; it can traverse challenging terrain. Similar to the Wrangler, the two- and four-door variants are rated to tow 3,500 pounds.
The four-cylinder Bronco with an automatic gearbox is the most fuel-efficient model, with city and highway ratings of 20 and 22 mpg, respectively. Upgrade to the V-6 model with the Sasquatch package, which features aggressive, larger tires, and the city and highway fuel economy drop to 17 mpg. On our 75-mph fuel-economy route, we’ve tested automatic-equipped Broncos with both engines, with the four-cylinder achieving 22 mpg and the V-6 achieving 18 mpg. Visit the EPA website for additional information about the Bronco’s fuel efficiency.
