New 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor Specs, Engine, Price – The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor is a SCORE off-road prize truck in an asphalt world. A high-performance race truck’s temperament can be seen in its extra-wide fenders, long-travel suspension, and massive tires. A twin-turbo 450-horsepower V-6 mated to a 10-speed automated transmission will remain the norm in 2024 for most Raptors. A 700-hp version of the supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 from the Shelby GT500 Mustang is due in 2024, which will finally offer the 702-hp Ram TRX something as terrifying to snort.
A 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 tire is standard equipment on the Raptor, while 37s are available as an option on twin-turbo V-6 vehicles. We’ve never experienced a full-size truck with a smoother ride than the Raptor. Intended explicitly for high-speed off-roading, that long-travel suspension is soft and forgiving over ordinary potholes and bumpy pavement. Aside from rocks and dunes, the Raptor’s most complex challenge may be navigating a narrow road or parking area.

New 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor Redesign
With a purposeful appearance that exudes testosterone and White Claw intensity, we can only imagine what the extreme Raptor R will look like, given how badass the “basic” Raptor already appears. All-terrain tires and a distinctive Raptor grille are included as standard equipment on the 2024 model. LED headlights and a keyless tailgate release are also included. The heated and power-folding side mirrors are convenient for a car as large as this one. The option of massive 37-inch tires is also available. Raptor Graphics and a foldable pickup box bed extender are also add-ons. There’s no denying that any Ford Raptor truck, no matter what configuration, is a show stopper.
The F-150 Raptor is a light-duty vehicle with a length of 231.7 inches and is categorized as such. Without the side mirrors, the width is 79.9 inches; with them, the breadth rises to 95.7 inches. The cab of the Raptor F-150 is 77.2 inches high. The Raptor is only available in one body style, the Supercrew, with a 5.5-foot bed, unlike the ordinary F-150. Ford offers seven different paint colors for the Raptor to show off its aggressive exterior. Our favorite color for the Raptor is either Atlas Blue Metallic or Antimatter Blue Metallic, both dark blue. The Raptor looks best in lighter colors like Iconic Silver Metallic and Oxford White. The most obnoxious color is Code Orange Metallic, with Rapid Red Metallic being the only other option for an additional $495.

Interior
The inside of the F-150 Raptor is identical to that of the normal SuperCrew. In addition to a 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster, the high-performance model has a larger storage area and what Ford claims are better materials. There is now an orange 12-o’clock mark on the redesigned steering wheel, and conspicuous aluminum paddle shifters are still lurking below the spokes. The optional carbon-fiber interior elements and more aggressively bolstered Recaro front buckets are also available for the Raptor. The extended cab (SuperCab) body design will no longer be available for the high-flying pickup. At least the crew cab version of the SuperCrew has extra room in the back. A 5.5-foot cargo box is included.
A large 12.0-inch touchscreen controls the Raptor’s standard Sync 4 infotainment system on its dashboard. It’s compatible with CarPlay and Android Auto, and it can talk to Amazon Alexa and get over-the-air updates. Additionally, we appreciate that Ford included actual volume and tuning knobs to match the steering-wheel controls and voice commands. The 18-speaker B&O sound system is available for those who like a more immersive audio experience while traveling. Additionally, the Raptor’s cargo bed can be equipped with a 2.0-kW transportable generator that can power tools and other equipment.

Engine
The 3.5L turbocharged EcoBoost V6 is included in the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor. With 451 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque accessible from 3,000 rpm, this engine may not be potent by today’s standards, but it’s still a lot of power. A ten-speed automatic transmission couples this engine to the wheels, distributing power evenly across the vehicle’s tires. Ford has modified the torque curve to provide greater control earlier in the range for better off-road performance, even though these power ratings remain unchanged from the previous vehicle. Additionally, this has made driving the car in traffic much more accessible. Off-road, you’ll be astounded by how quickly the Raptor F-150 can pick up speed, even in the roughest terrain. The ten-speed automatic transmission remains smooth and responsive even when pushed to the limit. Ford’s new three-inch equal-length exhaust system with a modified X-pipe has given the vehicle a raucous sound. Adding to the Raptor’s tough-guy image is a revised exhaust note that sounds much more threatening.
Poor gas mileage is a common complaint among drivers. A roughly 6,000-pound truck with a 450-hp turbocharged V6 engine is what you get. The EPA estimates the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor will get 15/18/16 mpg city/highway/combined in the new year. Fuel economy increases to 15/16/15 mpg with the 37-inch wheel package. The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor has a fuel capacity of 36 gallons in an extended range configuration, allowing it to go 576 miles on a single tank. On the other hand, the far more powerful Ram TRX will only obtain 10/14/12 mpg.
