The base XL trim level is perfect for those in the market for a work truck because it includes everything necessary and nothing more. Still, as you progress up the trim levels, you’ll find an ever-expanding list of desirable options and higher prices. The adventurous Tremor model caters to people looking to spend time in the great outdoors, while the luxurious Platinum and Limited versions provide amenities generally associated with Lincoln vehicles. Not as comfortable as the Ram 1500 or as responsive as the Chevrolet Silverado, the F-150 is nonetheless highly capable, extensively configurable, and fiercely competitive. That is to say, it has achieved sufficient success to inspire the devotion that has kept it at the top of the deals charts year after year.
For 2024, Ford is offering the F-150 in a new off-road-focused version called Rattler. The Rattler is founded on the XL FX4, but it features unique 18-inch wheels, a dual-exhaust system, hill-descent control, a locking back differential, and an off-road suspension system as emblems inspired by rattlesnakes.
