New 2024 Ford F150 Specs, Engine, Release Date – In most people’s minds, the Ford F-150 is the quintessential pickup truck. The contemporary version of the perennial best-seller features an aluminum body, turbocharged powertrains, a hybrid alternative, an all-electric offshoot (discussed separately), and all of Ford’s top-tier technology. The base XL trim level is perfect for those in the market for a work truck because it includes everything necessary and nothing more. Still, as you progress up the trim levels, you’ll find an ever-expanding list of desirable options and higher prices. The adventurous Tremor model caters to people looking to spend time in the great outdoors, while the luxurious Platinum and Limited versions provide amenities generally associated with Lincoln vehicles. Not as comfortable as the Ram 1500 or as responsive as the Chevrolet Silverado, the F-150 is nonetheless highly capable, extensively configurable, and fiercely competitive. That is to say, it has achieved sufficient success to inspire the devotion that has kept it at the top of the deals charts year after year.
For 2024, Ford is offering the F-150 in a new off-road-focused version called Rattler. The Rattler is founded on the XL FX4, but it features unique 18-inch wheels, a dual-exhaust system, hill-descent control, a locking back differential, and an off-road suspension system as emblems inspired by rattlesnakes. Compared to the more costly Tremor and Raptor versions, the F-150 Rattler is a cheaper way to get better off-road performance than with the Tremor or Raptor versions.
New 2024 Ford F150 Redesign
The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R, which will compete with the Ram 1500 TRX, is expected to improve the truck’s visual appeal, although its debut is still a ways off. In 2024, the Ford F-150 will look identical to the 2021 model thanks to a continuation of that year’s redesign. You may choose between a 6.5-foot bed or an 8-foot bed, and the exterior has black bumpers, a black grille with a two-bar type grille, halogen lamps with daytime running lamps, and 17-inch silver-colored steel wheels. Extending the length and wheelbase of a regular cab Ford F-150 from 209.1 inches and 122.7 inches to 227.6 inches and 141.5 inches, respectively, is necessary to accommodate an 8-foot bed. The GMC Sierra 1500 and the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 have the same overall length (including the wheelbase) when equipped with the 8-foot bed. Protective or Rapid Red options are available for the XLT, with the latter costing an extra $395. Here, you can even pick a secondary hue; however, doing so would once again necessitate more advanced hardware. Smoked Quartz ($510) and Star White ($595) are two of the six colors available on the Limited top trim, which otherwise offers a broader range of options. Interior
Especially in the New 2024 Ford F150 upper-tier King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims, the cabin is virtually on par with the Ram 1500’s plush interior. High-quality materials are used everywhere in the house, with several compartments for your items. The F-150 has been outfitted with several handy extras to benefit individuals who use it as a mobile office. With a 10-speed automatic transmission, the shift lever and center console can be collapsed to make way for an extra flat work surface. Similarly, the F-150’s front seats fold flat on request, creating a bed. The four-door crew-cab body style is the roomiest and most accommodating for families due to its large number of doors and high roofline. The cargo hold of the F-150 is located at the rear. You can use the vehicle’s optional onboard generator, which can make up to 7.2 kW of power, on the job site or at a tailgate party.
An upgraded version of Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment software is preinstalled on the primary 8.0-inch display, while a more significant 12.0-inch device is available as an upgrade. This is the same size as the Ram 1500’s optional 12.0-inch vertical display, although the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra offer a larger 13.4-inch display as an option. The new 2024 Ford F-150 has the lowest starting price of any full-size pickup truck at $29,990. The Regular Cab has a chamber for three people, while the Super Cab starts at $34,075, and the SuperCrew has an MSRP of $37,700 if you need more seating.
