The New Ford GT 2024 Specs, Dimensions, Release Date – If you want to move a race car that’s also street-legal, you’ll need to save about $500,000 and find a way to buy a 2024 Ford GT. Its stunning exterior is a tribute to the legendary GT40 race car that dominated Le Mans in the 1960s and showcases the best work from Ford’s design and engineering teams. While the Ford F-150 also has a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6, it doesn’t make 660 horsepower and sounds like a band of demons at full throttle. To fully appreciate the GT’s ferocious acceleration, sharp steering, and unyielding carbon-ceramic brakes, you should do so on a racetrack, which is safer and more fun. Surprisingly, the race-bred suspension can be set for average road comfort. Please don’t mistake it for a daily driver; the cockpit is sparsely furnished to minimize distractions, and getting in and out of it is a hassle. However, it is only fitting to pit the GT against the Ferrari F8 Tributo, with all the history of Le Mans and the infamous Snake-Stallion rivalry. Similarly, it competes with high-end supercars like the McLaren 720S and Lamborghini Aventador S.

The New Ford GT 2024 Redesign
The 2024 Ford GT’s exterior is not expected to undergo any changes. That it will retain its stunning good looks is clear from this. Blue-Oval “Ford” emblems will be placed on the hood, with a dual hood-scoop design to adorn the front of the vehicle. The stylish headlights with integrated LED DRLs will also be retained in the show. The massive “flying buttress side-body scoops” and the wide front and rear fenders are distinctive and cutting-edge aerodynamic features when viewed from the side. These features are direct holdovers from the original, legendary GT40. All the carbon fiber used in the body is exposed and protected by a clear coat in the “liquid carbon” package, which can be ordered by 2024 Ford GT buyers who want to show off their wealth. You can get the limited-edition Liquid Carbon spec without any paint if you’d like. The front lip, side skirts, and diffuser can all be finished in Shadow Black if that’s too much, or you can choose between a matte or glossy carbon fiber finish.

Interior
Something is striking about the interior, too, though for different reasons. Almost all the functions are located on the race car-style steering wheel, making the interior extremely sparse and geared toward the driver. Getting inside is a challenge, but you’ll notice the driver’s seat doesn’t adjust once you’re there. Instead, Ford made the fixed seat, pedals, and steering wheel all adjustable based on the driver’s position. The instrument cluster could have been lifted straight from the Ford GT race car. A second digital display is embedded into the suede-covered dashboard to operate the audio and navigation systems.
The GT places driving ahead of other activities, so it does not come standard with the myriad of infotainment and connectivity features found in most new vehicles. However, it still has Ford’s Sync 3 software and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. In addition to being able to be driven with voice commands, this $500,000 vehicle also has built-in navigation.

Engine
The 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 660 hp equivalent and 550 lb-ft of torque will remain in the 2024 Ford GT. The engine’s output is sent to the back wheels through a lightning-fast 7-speed automatic transmission. The machine is just as monstrous, rumbling behind the front seats, and yes, Ford’s approach was a little out of stock compared to the segment’s other potent competitors who use fire-breathing V8s and V12s. Despite its rear-wheel drive layout, the Ford GT is capable of a 0-60 mph time of 3 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 10.8 seconds. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission helps achieve this rapid acceleration by shifting gears quickly and smoothly. In the company of high-revving, massive displacement engines with eight or more cylinders, the Ford GT’s distinctive V6 is underpowered. When pitted against the Ford GT, the 2021 McLaren 720S easily comes out on top in terms of speed and power.
In comparison to the extremely rare GT, it is more accessible. On the other hand, the Lamborghini Aventador is a throwback supercar that provides jaw-dropping acceleration and all-wheel-drive confidence to cruise around corners and eats up the competition on straightaways. However, the Ferrari is the numerous energetic of the bunch.
